One workshop, in Muscat, and that is deliberate: the equipment an EV actually needs — cell-level battery work, high-voltage insulation testing, manufacturer software — does not split usefully across small branches. Owners from Sohar and Sur drive in, and the mobile unit covers the Capital Area.
The Voyah is a Dongfeng car that arrives loaded, and its air suspension takes the brunt of the interior roads. What it needs from us is air suspension, high-voltage systems and cockpit software localisation — and a straight answer about what it does not need, which is the part most owners say was missing everywhere else. Muscat is humid and sits on salt air; an hour inland at Nizwa the heat is dry; up on Jebel Akhdar it is cool enough to need a jacket. A pack driven over one weekend can see all three, and each of them stresses a different part of it.
